Get Help

1 Corinthians 6:19 Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?

I have never been a “go to the doctor” guy, only to the ER for emergencies, and I have had my share of them through the years. I am against the societal problem we have of prescription drugs on so many levels, from the corruption of big-pharma in the power struggle of societal control, to the intimacy of individuals struggling on every level as their pawns. I have not had a physical for well over 10 years for those reasons, and even a few others, but something has changed the last couple of years. At 55 I decided to improve what I could control, my diet, and made steps doing so. I went a year with no soft drinks, eating a little better and definitely less, and dropped over 20 lbs and I feel much better. I am continuing the pursuit of my physical improvement in more ways this year, that is a journey that requires determination and will power to do so. God wired me that way, once I put my mind to it, Lord willing, I will accomplish it. There is also a big pride struggle wrapped up into that, but God is also keeping me humble in the realization that I cannot beat father time, my body ain’t what it used to be. I have worked hard and played hard all my life, and I am feeling those pains much more since hitting 50. I have said the thirties and forties did not get me, but fifty kicked me in the teeth.

The real struggle is that I can’t seem to fix my mental health, the struggles with anxiety and depression. I have always been open with them, I have nothing to hide and am not ashamed of it. I love how God has placed those in my path for great conversations. They have both gotten much worse the last couple of years, and I could write a book on that roller-coaster of emotions that come with them, they both make life hard to do when they get as bad as they have been. The red flag for me was when I began to not like doing the things I relax doing, the ways I escaped life’s struggles became struggles. I love working on bikes, shop time, riding, racing, everything with my boys. They became struggles, frustrations at the simplest things, outbursts, withdrawals, there became no way of escaping, and that became scary once I realized it. There are many dark roads Satan will take you down when depressions cloud becomes darker, and the evil thoughts go deeper. It scared me when I traveled those roads and I knew I had to swallow my pride and go seek help.

In a God orchestrated conversation, a great friend recommended his doctor, a man of faith that God gave me to talk to. We spent more time talking about our faith, than we did about me. I share all of the above with him, and told him how I had fought it with my faith, and time in prayer and God’s Word. He applauded that type of faith, and encouraged me that God used his gifts and today’s medicine to help me. Did you know Luke was a doctor, (Colossians 4:14 Luke the beloved physician, …) and he wrote two books in the Bible, the Gospel of Luke, and the account of the church’s growth in the book of Acts. He completely understood my stance, and we agreed on a low dose to take the edge off. I have since went back and we upped it for six months for me to evaluate. I can honestly say I feel better, and I already see God placing friends in my path to encourage them do likewise, to swallow their pride and seek help too.

God does not look down on you for seeking help in any way, period. God works in so many ways to draw us closer to him, so many ways that we don’t understand, Isaiah 55:8-9. Satan may come to God and desire permission for some evil to us, and God may permit it because he sees the good in the outcome, many times drawing us closer to him as a result of our enemies troubles upon us. Romans 8:28. God does not like our pride, and I am a prideful man that he must continue to work on keeping me humble in so many ways. My physical testimony and my mental testimony are both works of a loving God on a guy who desires him to not give up on me, and to hear those words, Well done good and faithful servant.” I want to finish strong, to be focused on sharing my faith to all God places in my path that he has prepared to hear. I do not want my personal struggles to keep me withdrawn, and all alone to not good. I thank God for dealing me another pride blow of his hammer on this hard headed guy, not moldable like clay, but hard as stone. If God is working on your pride too, trying to make you realize you need help, pray first, and then seek a doctors help also. I did, and I thank God for it.

You can’t do it

Luke 18:27 But He said, “The things whichare impossible with men are possible with God.”

Well ya see God

I have been pretty good,

At church most Sundays

Staying out of the hood.

I give to the poor

I try to help the weak,

Since I am so bold

I try to speak for the meek.

The Bible says do this

And says don’t do that,

So weighing in your scales

Must be where it is at.

I must track my mistakes

We all sure do sin,

But if I work real hard

Heaven’s ticket I will win.

Lots of things I can do

To unlock the pearly gate,

What do you mean no

My pride has sealed my fate?

I believe in John 14:6

In access to heaven through you,

But there has to be so much more

What else must I do?

I thought you were the door

And my deeds were the key,

All my good in this life

Would open heaven for me.

So you have done it all

No scales in heaven are found,

I only must believe that

God’s grace alone will abound.

The free gift I accept

In this grace I believe,

Let me give my life now

For more love that I can conceive.

The good I do now in life

Is from love and not for pay,

Through the gift of God alone

Will I get to heaven one day.

The Good far outweighs the bad

The Good far outweighs the bad

Matthew 10:29 Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin? And not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father’s will.

If you are seeking to live your life as a disciple of Jesus Christ, reading Matthew chapter ten is a tough read. Jesus was sending out the twelve apostles, and warning them of what they were to face as his disciples. Warning them of the calamities to come, but assuring them of the comfort of God’s sovereignty covering their every step. Jesus was telling them of how they would be persecuted, but promising them not to worry, for God would even give them the words to speak at the minute they were needed most. I can assure you, every pastor has been in those shoes unprepared for a sermon, and became just a mouthpiece for the Holy Spirit that Sunday. Sermons that spoke directly to what someone needed to hear, but the preacher likely can’t recall what he said. I can attest to you, humbling cannot begin to describe the weight of that feeling of being used by God.

Jesus is giving the apostles all this bad news, but in the midst of it, even more good news. He was assuring them that God has a control over his creations that we cannot fathom. He can direct our paths, put words in our mouth, protect us from evil, but even the little creatures are not apart from his control. Free Will is a gift from God, but does not mean we ultimately control all that we face in life. Our limited minds (by his design), cannot comprehend the complexities of Free Will intertwined with God’s Sovereign control. Do not let Satan use the complexity of it to divide your faith in it. If you say that you believe the Bible, believe the complexity of it; 29 Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin? And not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father’s will. 30 But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. 31 Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows. How great would your God be if you had all the answers?

All that you are facing in life is filtered through God’s hands; by allowing it or designing it, the purpose of it is to draw you closer to him or show you your need for him. Understanding that statement greatly simplifies your life. Understanding that truth greatly increases your faith, and allows you peace in the midst of life’s storms. Being a Christian in today’s world is becoming more likely you will suffer persecution but, understanding that God is allowing that to happen, gives you strength to face that storm in faith, and to testify of him. You faith must grow in preparation of, and then it will increase as you face these trials. Jesus told the apostles, 27 “Whatever I tell you in the dark, speak in the light; and what you hear in the ear, preach on the housetops.” Jesus loves you so much that he is allowing you to go through whatever you are facing. Jesus loves you so much that he knows it can draw you closer to him. Jesus loves you so much that he wrote of his promises in the midst of his warnings in Matthew ten. The good outweighed the bad.

Get me the big hammer

Get me the big hammer

Mark 2:8 But immediately, when Jesus perceived in His spirit that they reasoned thus within themselves, He said to them, “Why do you reason about these things in your hearts?
I guess being a construction guy, I always took a special liking to the story of the healing of the paralytic man that was lowered through the roof. Jesus had packed the house to capacity, so the friends of the man thought outside the box and came through the roof. There are so many angles from that act of faith alone. Think of the people listening inside and seeing the debris and roof coming apart; think of what faith it took to take the roof apart; think of what you would think next week at church if it happened before your very eyes; think of the distraction to the preacher…..well, not Jesus, because he knew all along. I could go on and on but this is no simple undertaking and a great act of faith on all involved. Jesus knew this level of faith and forgave the man’s sins before granting him legs and him walking out of there. That was where the religious of the day began to have a problem with the whole situation; they began to THINK He was blaspheming God, because only God had the power to forgive sin. This was a common accusation from the religious scribes and leaders of the day; they could not recognize that God was in their midst. Even when Jesus never heard an audible word they said, but read their minds through their hearts, and heard their accusations He addressed in the passage above. How could a religious “leader” not recognize God with the healing and the ability to know their thoughts?

I had a great talk yesterday about a pure heart before God. I felt the Holy Spirit speak to me so clearly through my friend I was moved to tears uncontrollably. I don’t even think he knew the weight of the words he spoke, for he was only a vessel of God being used to reach me. God knows our heart, and he desires our pure hearts for him. Psalm 44:21 Would not God search this out? For He knows the secrets of the heart. God knows what we are thinking. He knows what we are doing and why we are doing it. He knows if our religious duties are from heart for him, or a heart bound by salvation through religious works. He knows our hidden sins. He knows our hidden thoughts. We may live a lie, but we can’t hide the lie from Him. The Holy Spirit may press on our hearts and we either respond in repentance, or deny and slip farther away from God. This time here, is preparation for our time there; this life is our preparation for our eternal reward or punishment. Do you have the faith to cut a hole in the roof, or would you just be content in being in a pew on Sunday? Your church attendance record plays no part in heaven; your heart and faith do.

Distracted

Distracted

Luke 10:40 But Martha was distracted with much serving, and she approached Him and said, “Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Therefore tell her to help me.”

How many paths could we go down with this story of Mary and Martha? How many roads of religious duties have taken our hearts off Jesus? How many have fallen to the false self-righteousness and fulfillment of working out our salvation? How many have fallen to the distractions of this world in any way and their hearts and eyes and minds be taken off Jesus? Satan works in distractions; many times Satan uses distractions as deceptions that give us those feelings of self worth. This morning as I sat down here early for only the second time this week, I searched distracted in my Bible. The world has me distracted right now.

Everything in this world seeks your attention to take your eyes off the next world. The pressures of this world build anxieties that steal your daily joy of abiding in Him. The ruler of this world will be pleased for you to live in the duty of religion, but he fears the abiding walk with Christ. He fears those that pray daily, read the Bibles daily; those that seek Gods will just for that day alone and not to worry about the next. That is the simplicity of a Christian life that abides; seek God’s will for just today and not worry about tomorrow. Matthew 6:34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

If you are feeling distracted too, make the effort to change. Get alone with God; change your routine, say no to overcommitting, say yes to sitting at Jesus’ feet as Mary did. She felt in her heart what was needed and responded to her heart. Luke 10:41 And Jesus answered and said to her, “Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things. 42 But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her.” Hear the compassion in Jesus’ plea for Martha to slow down. Hear the compassion for her to not be distracted by duties and to just rest in him. Matthew 11:28 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Will you take a bullet for Jesus?

Will you take a bullet for Jesus?

1 Peter 3:13-17 And who is he who will harm you if you become followers of what is good? 14 But even if you should suffer for righteousness’ sake, you are blessed. “And do not be afraid of their threats, nor be troubled.” 15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear; 16 having a good conscience, that when they defame you as evildoers, those who revile your good conduct in Christ may be ashamed.17 For it is better, if it is the will of God, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil.

I am struggling this morning if to write or not. Today my mind is racing and trying to unpack dreams and scripture. I am only writing because I have always sought to be transparent; I do not hide the sinner that I am, I seek no lofty goal, I only want to show you I am no different from you, and that you too can be saved by Grace and have every blessing that God desires for you also. I am a man humbled greatly by God, stripped of pride and rooted in the love and reverent fear I have for Him. I only seek to point you to your need for Jesus also; I only seek to prod you to living your life daily seeking his will for your life, and knowing you will reap a heavenly reward for your life as a disciple here.

I do not remember my dreams, but I remember part of one vividly from last night; being shot at by a sniper and a bullet grazing my back. I woke up thinking about it, and I prayed for wisdom as I entered God’s Word this morning; I felt the Holy Spirit tell me 1st Peter 3, and the passage above seemed like it was in bold print. The obvious speaks to suffering for Christ, but there also is the addressing of sin and suffering. The deep convictions of sin are ever pressing; the only way to cope is to pray for forgiveness and healing. This is part of my daily walk; I must repent daily for my struggles the day before. I stand amazed by the level of mercy that God shows me as I am ashamed of the sinner I still am. I thank him for those convictions and pray for the strength through him to improve my daily life. I am a different person than I was only a few years ago, but sanctification is a lifelong process that we must endure.

In the middle of this passage is the question of will you stand for what you believe? Will you take a stand and witness of Jesus Christ, even as the passages is bookended by asking if you are willing to suffer for your response? Do you see evil killing Christians at a rate my generation has never seen? Do you see that you may be called to profess or renounce your faith with your life in the balance? Will you die for your faith in Jesus Christ? Matthew 10:33 But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven. Will you take a bullet for Jesus? The world we live in is changing; Satan and evil are peaking before his final demise by Christ. The day is coming when you are going to see the world economy change to one central system, and a person arise with the promise of a solution of peace. You can see this work around you coming to these “solutions.” This is biblical and all God’s plan to provide an eternal paradise free from sin. Your generation too is playing a part; which side are you on? Will you stand for what you believe no matter the cost?

If He can fix me….he can fix anybody

If He can fix me….he can fix anybody

John 3:5 Jesus answered, “Most assuredly I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.”

Sitting here watching the sun rise, wondering how many of you might be at Easter Sunrise Services? Today is the most holy day of our Christian calendar; it celebrates Jesus rising from the grave 2000 years ago, forever conquering the power death has over those who repent and believe in Him. Do you believe that Jesus died, arose, ascended, and that he is coming back? Do you believe that the Son of God condescended himself to live as one of his creation to provide the only means possible to right the wrong that man committed in the Garden of Eden? Do you believe that the only way you can get to heaven in through a humble repentant heart that understands we can only get to heaven by acceptance of what Jesus accomplished 2000 years ago? Do you understand that you can never do enough good works, live a good life, go to church every Sunday, give to the poor, love everybody, and yet think those good merits will get you into paradise? You can label it religion, legalism, any “ism” sect of religion that teaches you must do any work yourself other than humble yourself condemns. Jesus condemned the religious throughout the New Testament.

Some friends of mine on social media have been sharing their hearts for Christ; mini-testimonies of their love for him and those that don’t know how much Jesus loves everybody. Our world is spinning seemingly out of control headlong into sin. Our churches are conforming to the world rather than standing for truth and against the world. Christians are being slaughtered daily for their faith and many of us believe that decision may not ever come to us. Will you die for what you say that you believe? Will you put your life on the line for One who did the same for you? If you doubt, you need to go to God in prayer and his Word for a strengthened faith. I promise you will know when you possess the power to say you will die for your Christian faith; you have no fear, for you understand you will be at the feet of Jesus hearing him say, “Well done, good and faithful servant. Enter into the joy of the Lord.” (Matthew 25:21 paraphrased)

Why do I write this devotional blog? In hope that God does a work through it to show you that he can fix me, he can fix you. To show you a testimony of incredible mercy and grace. To show you that you do not need an education to find God; it is a matter of the heart and I graduated high school on straight D’s. I have lived most of my life stuck in pride and committed great sins. I relate strongly to Paul’s statement of being “the chief of sinners,” yet he wrote most of the New Testament. There is nothing you have done that you cannot be forgiven for; all you must do is realize that, then repent and believe. There is such a hope in heaven that the fears of this world will pass away. You will live in an eternal security that you desire for others to possess. You will become bold in your faith and not worry about those that ridicule you. People that knew you before Jesus will be your biggest critics, but they don’t likely possess Him, and if they do, they don’t truly understand grace.

Listen to my heartfelt plea; there is an answer to what your problem is, that answer if Jesus Christ. If you will only ask him to forgive you, then seek Him in his Word. I grew up in religion, and my life truly changed much later in life when I began to read my Bible every day. You cannot spend daily time in God’s Word and remain the same person you were the day before. If He can fix me……he can fix anybody.

It ain’t mine to keep

It ain’t mine to keep

Matthew 19:23-24 Then Jesus said to His disciples, “Assuredly, I say to you that it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. 24 And again I say to you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.”

It is nearly impossible to condense all the truths taught in the parable of the rich young ruler, especially when you live in a country obsessed and weighed by the monetary possessions we measure ourselves by. We are so pulled by the tug of sin found in our pursuits of stuff, that we measure ourselves without seemingly even knowing it. Houses, toys, cars, cash, all seemingly related to a power we feel in them. We are chasing a power and happiness in them that is of the ruler of this world; we are chasing what Satan wants us to chase, for money is likely our biggest test from God. Money can become our God, even thousands of years ago just as this rich young ruler. You may say you have trouble understanding the Bible, but God has made this perfectly clear. Matthew 6:24 “No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money. (ESV) I have heard many a sermon on how we value our money; simply put, take a look at your checking account and the truth will be made known.

I have stepped out of the pulpit and back into the business world myself. I am sure that many think in the pursuit of money, which is not true. There are many business owners out there that use their success to invest in ministry and eternal work; they utilize their financial blessing to invest in kingdom work. This is a root of this parable. Are you blessed; are you tithing at your church, or even giving above your tithe? Are you giving back to God out of the tug of duty and being religious, or out of love for what He has entrusted you with? There is an eternal difference in the two. One brings condemnation, for you think you are being saved by your works; the other brings immeasurable joy to the heart, for you are entering into the joy of the Lord by following his example. The summary to this parable is found in the middle of it; 21 Jesus said to him, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.” Jesus taught for three years how to follow him, countless examples and clear calls to those who asked. He was calling for us to make him first in our hearts; if he is first in our hearts it becomes easy to follow his example of living our lives with an eternal focus. It becomes easy to give away to the needy, when the world says to hide away for ourselves. It becomes easy to lay down our daily burdens and follow Jesus knowing we are eternally safe and secure there. Luke 9:23 Then He said to them all, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.

The first book written in the New Testament was written by Jesus’ half brother James who did not believe until after he saw his Brother arise from the dead and ascend into heaven. James, by the Holy Spirit, in the first chapter wrote how everything we possess in life, comes from God. James 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning. When you can grasp that all you have is a gift from God, how can you not be moved to pass that gift on to others? The world would tell you to keep it, but they see your heart for your God in the passing on of any gift to them. They want to know more about this God that you love so much to give away what the world values so much. Through the eternal investments in kingdom work the Great Commission is preached. Follow Jesus’ example today and give to the poor; show your love for him by setting an example by which the world does not understand. Through this example eternal doors are opened for sharing the Gospel to a world that is dying and headed to hell. Opening those eternal doors with the financial blessings He has entrusted you with will bring you a joy that no amount of money or possessions could ever attain

Hole in the Bucket

Hole in the Bucket
Mark 5:8-20

And when He got into the boat, he who had been demon- possessed begged Him that he might be with Him. However, Jesus did not permit him, but said to him, “Go home to your friends, and tell them what great things the Lord has done for you, and how He has had compassion on you.” And he departed and began to proclaim in Decapolis all that Jesus had done for him; and all marveled.

There is a small group of my friends that God uses to constantly encourage me with living out their faith; true disciples of Christ battling the world just like all of us, but living with an eternal view. We talk about all the same worldly things in our lives, but at some point in our conversations it always turns to our faith and what God has been showing us since our last talk. That is our true desire, to share what God has been showing us in his Word, through experiences with day to day encounters, through what we see of Him in our day to day lives. There is honestly nothing else I would rather discuss that what you have been experiencing in Him; my attention span and boredom kick in without a measure of faith mixed in our discussion.

My struggles with memory comes from a mix of extended drug abuse, genetics, and stress. I can read something, comprehend it, be genuinely moved by it, and an hour later can’t retain it. With the genetic side, that is terrifying. I have a hole in my bucket I am constantly trying to fill. God showed me recently how sin removes my finger and increases the flow rate. You can’t live with one foot in the world and one foot stretching for heaven; the gravity of sin will keep you here. What do you struggle with? What is your focus in life? What do you want to discuss more than anything? Do you see how the demon-possessed man in Mark wanted to talk about nothing but his healing? Jesus commanded him to go share his testimony of faith to all that would hear. If you are truly saved, that same commandment and desire should be welling up inside of you. If you claim Christianity and desire to discuss money, possessions, sex, success, sports, partying, anything that this world desires, are you truly saved? Do you rest in the false religion of Sunday Christianity that condemns? “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’ (Matthew7:21-23 NKJV)

My testimony to you is one on incredible mercy and grace; I felt like Paul a chief of sinners, I felt like David who committed great sins, I now feel indescribable forgiveness that I so desire for you to have also. My heart lies not only reaching the lost, but in the incredible difficult ministry of Matthew 7; those that think they are saved, those who sit beside you on Sunday, those who profess Christianity but are not disciples, those who are truly lost…… Jesus spoke in parables all throughout the New Testament for so many could not understand. Their hearts were hardened to God’s Word, many rested in religion and the rituals of it. Jesus had come to fulfill the Law that they could not, and they rejected him because of their hardened, prideful, religious hearts.

I promise you, you will know when you are saved. If you are doubting it, that may be your warning from God to change your focus in life. This life is preparing you for the eternal life; how you spend this life directly correlates to your eternal life’s reward or condemnation. My hole in my bucket is no different from yours, it is sin, and it is plugged by the heart that desires to live their life for Jesus. My testimony is one simply of a repent hearts plea for forgiveness and the desire to read my Bible every day. There is nothing anyone can say that will change you like the Word of God. You cannot spend daily time in Gods Word and remain the same person as the day before. The assurance of salvation you so desire is found through a humble heart that seeks Him there each and every day. Plug the hole in your bucket with Jesus

Ain’t no joke

Ain’t no joke

John 6:63 It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life. 64 But there are some of you who do not believe.” For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were who did not believe, and who would betray Him. 65 And He said, “Therefore I have said to you that no one can come to Me unless it has been granted to him by My Father.”

It is April Fool’s Day; the day of you can tell any lie, or claim any thing as long as it is followed up with the disclaimer, “April Fools.” It is mostly all good harmless fun, and a break from the monotony and stress of life. All jokes aside, are you secure in your eternal destiny? Do you understand that religion will not get you there? We have been studying at church the book of Philippians, and part of my preparation led me to study religious growth recently. An alarming trend is that 1 in 5 claim “no religion,” but of that group, 68% claim to still believe in God. That statistic baffles me on many fronts. Claim Christianity, yet no proof of their faith evident in their lives? Claim faith in God, yet indecisive on what form of God, or what blend of religion? Do they just believe their religion will get them into heaven, or any form of paradise when they die?

Religion, and any form of it that places you in the center of it, will be the key to eternal punishment, and not paradise. If at your core you believe that by ANY work on your own, that you earn ANY merit with any form of any God, you WILL pay eternally for your mistake. They key to heaven is only through the understanding of Grace, and that is through the provision of God and his son, Jesus Christ. John 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. If you think that your church attendance record gets you to heaven; if you think that being more of a “good” person than bad, or even just not as bad as the other guy, you are sadly wrong. Going through ritualistic acts that make you appear religious, only makes you appear religious to men; that is called religiosity and opens the doors to the pit below.

Once you realize that God pursued you, such as the passage in John above; you will be humbled to the point of living your life for the One who gave you life. Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. You didn’t find God, he found you, and wants you to live your short time here serving him, so that he can reward you eternally in heaven. It is liberating to understand Grace, to understand the trap found in religiosity, to see and feel what God gives you in a relationship with him. We all will kneel before him on judgement day; we will either kneel forgiven in our understanding of grace, or condemned by any other means. That ain’t no April Fool’s joke.
