Unspoken

Romans 8:26 Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

When you can’t
He will.
When life is moving so fast
He manages to remain still.

Distractions seem endless
They come in many ways,
Before long you realize
You haven’t talked to God in days.

You sit at His feet
You wonder what to say,
Your mind changes gears
All the things to do today.

The looming tasks list
All the things to get done,
The feeling of Mary and Martha
The need to concentrate on just ONE.

Satan is really good
At excuses of what you must do,
But the burden that lies
Is a privilege to you.

God just wants to hear
What is on you heart today,
He wants to be alone with you
He wants to hear what you say.

He has given you the breath
To live another day,
There is nothing you face
For which He has not prepared the way.

When you are struggling
Just sit quietly alone at His feet,
Sometime the best prayers
Are unspoken when you meet.
