Hey all, Between computer problems and early risers, this has proven to be a challenge today.

John 1:6-8 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. This man came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all through him might believe. He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. That Light was the true Light which gives light to every man coming into the world.

 As I was on the beach this morning, watching and waiting as the sun arose in all its glory, I was moved by its glory and all the colors, all the beauty, all the anticipation of it dawning over the horizon. There is something special about sunrises at the beach. I came up here to see where I was in John, and these were the next scriptures. Christ is the true Light, the Son of God, that gives light unto the world. I couldn’t help but think of His returning and how all the world will see, but yet in an instant. Matthew 12:27 For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. Will you be ready?

He is coming back and will gather all His children. Matthew 24: 30-31 Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. We get up and arise every day taking for granted the Creator who provided the sun at the perfect distance from the earth to sustain life. Do we get up every day and forget to realize His Son has come to sustain life for eternity in paradise also? All this is available to you, with the humble realization of your sin and the need for a Savior to keep you from dying in it.
